Everyone knows that you can put anything on a sandwich. From just plain mustard to a triple bologna, lettuce, cheese, mayo sandwich. The most famous one of them all is PB&J.
In World War II it was a ration for the army and then it began to grow. Today they have come up with a new type of PB&J. It comes packages like cheese. It's wrapped in plastic and all you have to do is peel it off and put it on your bread. No more mess! A maker of this said, "it looked good, it tasted good. We were excited."(4)
People used to have to make there bread by hand. By the 1940's and 1950's most bread was being bought. People starte to miss the taste of homemade bread so mush they made it so you can freeze it and make it later.
They also came up with a bread maker were you put in bread dough, and the machine will make it all for you. Cutting out the long baking time.
